Serving in the Military and as a Doctor

On June 8, 1950, Alex arrived in the United States after receiving his immigration papers. Alex would take full advantage of his medical training serving in the United States Army Medical Group. He served as an associate professor of medicine at the Chicago Medical School. He had been published in several medical journals about his research. Alex married his girlfriend, Inez on February 28, 1953. They have three children together.
