The two then relocated to the San Francisco Bay area. He worked in the High-Tech industry in Silicon Valley where he held executive positions with leading companies like Sandisk. In 2010, after more than five decades, Leon decided that it was time to write the story of his life during World War II, entitled, We Survived…At Last I Speak. Leon lives in the Lake Tahoe area. He loves to bike, ski, sail, and golf. His true passions are sailing and biking competitions. He has been invited all around the world to speak to schools, colleges, universities and social organizations about his journey during WWII and beyond.
